I would say start on the north border when looking at colleges. It depends on which province/territory you're in, though. If you're in Ontario, definitely find one in Michigan or Wisconsin since there are many decent, cost-effective colleges there. On the other hand, if you're in British Columbia, you might want to find one in Washington State. It all depends on which state is closer and what colleges have to offer. I'd start based on location and go from there if I were you, though. Good luck!

Try a school like Michigan U or something closer to home, that way it is more cost effective. You should be able to get into most schools.
