Am i cooked?
i’ve always tried my hardest in school but this past year (junior year) i kind of blew it. I ended with 3 bs and 3 as both semesters (but second semester all my percentages were way higher than first). My dream school is UW and im afraid my 3.67 UW GPA won’t be enough. My sat score is laughable so I’m going test optional. I have okay-ish ecs (lacrosse, cheer, running a business, part of a few clubs) but i dont know if they will be enough to help me get in. do we think my essay will be enough to help me?? Planning on writing my personal statement about my business and how its led to my growth and my diversity essay about being part of the lgbt community and part of many extremely different activities.
I looked at UW's acceptance rate which is about a 53% of all applicants, so based on what you've already said, just look into getting peer-reviews on your essays before submitting them and you should be okay. As someone that also has a laughable SAT score, doesn't have many ecs under my belt, and has a 3.3 cumulative, I think you will most likely be okay. Hope this helps <3
